Kuo-yu Louis _ouis_hang — I enjoy Trollope and the ironic eye he casts on the world. This novel concerns a young-ish woman ho is unexpectedly left some money, which changes her immediately from a spinster into a marriage prospect. Trollope uses his sense of humor to make serious points about the position of women and the effects of class in Victorian times, and although the novel has the traditional "happy ending" it is still readable today.

Fausto Gallorini _allorinifausto — This was an ok read. I felt it was longer than it needed to be. I liked the first half, but it dragged a little the second half. It did have a Danielle Steele-feel to it and was a little predictable, but overall a good story about an enduring best-friendship.
