Anyway, I liked that this was educational in a simple way; I could see a little kid liking this book a lot. I also liked the absolute simplicity of the drawings. Not sure why that is, but it's true. I also thought it was a fun twist that the car driver is a bus driver by occupation.

Abdullah Elsheltawi abdullahelsheltawi — This is the sequel to one of the most powerful autobiographies I've ever read. Stompin' Tom Connors early life is a cautionary tale; yet it is nothing short of amazing that this man overcame the odds and step by step carved himself a life and career as few before or since have. This is the long awaited sequel, but it is less internal than the first volume, an more an accounting of what happened when and how. This should be of historic interest to today's musicians since to get an idea of what the music biz was really like in the old days, and what was actually involved in making it as an independent act in the days before the technology advances including the Internet.

Ntokozo Nzuza _tokozo_zuza — Good overview of the New Testament from Acts to Revelation by one of my fav professors at Denver Seminary Dr. Blomberg (a scholar and a gentleman). It helps one to think like a 1st century Christian. It is a bit heady but his theology and insights are totally worth it.
