Omg Tee omgtee — one of the greatest fantasy book that I ever read because George R.R. Martin really did a great job in creating a new world for the reader. All the characters are equally important and what I love about this book is the element of surprise. We will never know what will happen next.

Rajeev P rajeevpr — This is my third Dick book read as an adult. It is a very quick read, you can do this on a long Sunday if you are quick. It's a sci-fi novel, pure and simple, with some interesting existential themes. Reads much more like a movie than a book, if that makes any sense. A bit of the film noir type voiceovers ("why was the message on the wall? What did it mean?") mixed in with some guesses into the future. As many readers notice, the book, written in '69, manages to take a pretty good guess on things like the internet, while completely missing others. It's very enjoyable in that regard alone. Not a heavy read, nor a particularly philosophical one, unless you consider his treatment of the "afterlife" as a philosophical statement. For someone who wants to get into Dick, go for this one. Quick and funny. 3 1/2 stars.

Luca Montuori _umo_p — My first introduction to Discworld was with this book and I immediately consumed all the City Watch-related fare before gradually expanding to Death, and the Witches and Wizards. I honestly don't know what is the best way to immerse yourself into Discworld because it honestly took me a second visit after the Watch ones to really get into 'The Colour of Magic.'
