Zehua Rex _exzh — Snowcrrash was my first introduction to Stephenson and it was one I enjoyed quite a bit. The story was pretty compelling and a somewhat epic cyberpunk tale that was well written, face paced and filled with action, mystery and humor. It's set in America after it's downfall where cities/states have all splintered off to form their own govt.'s and revolves around a young girl and her exploits in the virtual world and the dangers/mysteries she runs into there. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars and recommend to anyone enjoying post-apocalyptic Sci-Fi in general and cyberpunk specifically.

Jacqui Damore jacquidamore — You will probably figure the ending out without too much trouble - but the getting there will give the ride of a lifetime. I can't tell you how many times I put this book down and immediately picked it back up again, saying that I would read just one more chapter. Laurel Shields wakes up one morning and takes a home pregnancy test and finds she is pregnant, but there is a strong possibility that the father is not her husband, Dr. Warren Shields. The father could possibly be, Danny McDavitt, who is unhappily married and the father of a challenged boy. Dr. Warren has a practice with fellow doctor, Kyle Auster, who has been cheating Medicare with the help of his office manager, Vida Roberts. The FBI is auditing their books and Kyle and Vida plant damaging information on Dr. Warren trying to make him the fall guy. Dr. Warren, who has a problem of his own, turns from being mild mannered and a caring person to one who is mistrusting and volatile. He is tipped off to the planted information and in searching for it; he finds a love letter written to his wife. He now holds his wife and children hostage as he tries to find out who her lover is. The action is racheted up a notch when Dr. Warren's house is surrounded by sheriff deputies that are short on handling hostage situations. They are faced with trying to resolve the situation before nightfall and how to subdue Warren without endangering his wife and children. The action takes place in one day and I cannot remember a book that packed so much intensity in such a small time frame. You will find yourself racing from page to page trying to find out what is going to happen next.

Cecile Moreau _ecycledby_yena — I can't add to what has already been said about this comic except: perfection.

Ineta Plytnykiene _neta_ — Great standard Highlander romance. It's a formula, but I like that formula. Sweet girl with a secret falls for dashing laird and despairs that he doesn't love her (he does). She's outgoing and smart, but shy and troubled by a past of neglect and abuse. It was adorable. I'll read the rest of this trilogy, for sure. (4 stars)
