Lido S prpapashaaf78 — This book had a lot of great insight into Christ as a healer. Having just seen the Carl Bloch exhibit at BYU, I really enjoyed looking at this painting a little closer.

Vitaliy Romanov _ — This book made me want to go back and read the last few chapters of Genesis. When I did, I was amazed at how much of the story was used and how little Diamant had to embellish - the story was that crazy to begin with! That said, she did an amazing job bringing it to life. And it made me want to feel some solidarity with my sisters & mothers, real and metaphorical.

Gianfranco Uc spacenoids — I know very little about Hemingway, and what I do know I picked up in tidbits from articles or other books. I've never read any of his novels, somehow having made it through high school without the usual 'Old Man and the Sea' read. Based on this book alone, I think he was a jerk. I loved the story, loved reading about Paris in the 1920s. I was fascinated with Hadley and with her life with Hemingway, but I can't quite understand why she stayed with him for so long. She says that her reward is knowing that he couldn't be the brilliant writer he is without her, but that isn't true, as he went on to write many books after they divorced. I'm still wondering what it was that she got out of the relationship.
