Very long (840 pages) and full of lots of details including his early life growing up and his unconventional family life. Author did a fine job of researching Buffett and giving the reader a view of what his thought processes are, his personal values and detailing mistakes he has made along the way.

Gvj Designs _esigns — If I could give a book 4 1/2 stars, that is what this one would get! I really enjoyed it and look forward to reading more about Savannah Reid.

Sameer Pattnayak sameerptnk — I believe I enjoyed this one more than the first, perhaps because no movies have been made of it and it was new to me as a result. The absolute idolatry of the British upper class in this one grew tiresome and it certainly falls into the unpolitically correct bin filled with Buchan, Haggard, and more of that ilk. (I've always wanted to meet an ilk.) Still they have their charms and this one does as well. Onward to the third volume in the series now. Excelsior!

Stephanie Hobbs _tephanie_ouise_obbs — The biggest controversy about this book was whether the author broke the law by removing a few stones from Chesil Beach prior to the writing of this novel. The rest is hackneyed English sterotypes and blundering cross pruposes.
