This was an ALA Best Book for Young Adults, surprising based on it’s content. I really did enjoy it however. There is a great deal of social commentary beyond what is listed on the back of the book. Enlightening despite the YA listing. If you claim Pastafarian you will probably enjoy this and potentially even find it a little funny.

Salim Saiyed salimsaiyed — I wanted to rank this book higher but a shift in tone/story/plot midway through has me hesitant. What started out as a stark, scary, emotional story hit a wall and turned into a different book. I'm still a bit puzzled as to why the author chose to approach the change to the story in this manner.

Christine Howard crhoward — Very emotional and touching. It was the first time I read a book about Alzheimers...my heart goes out to people who live with this daily and for their families who have to seem them lose themselves a little by little!
