At the same time, she and the other settlers must worry about a thief that has been stealing food and clothing from all the farms on Stoney Creek. Shadows on Stoney Creek is a good conclusion to the Sarah's Journey series, and I recommend it to all readers who enjoyed the first four books about Sarah Moore. I recommend this entire series to young readers who enjoy stories about pioneer or colonial life. It brings to life a young girl's adventures in Virginia and Kentucky during the American Revolution, and has likable characters and interesting historical details.
