владимир кузьмин solvermotion — I've read a lot of Michener but this one might be my favorite. I knew nothing about Poland before reading this book and it inspired me to learn more about the that part of the world. Very interesting.

佳魚 陳 icily — Anyone who had parents who grew up in Boston heard the story passed down about the great Molasses Flood. It was usually told in an offhand manner, ending with "on a hot day you can still smell the molasses". This is the whole story, and there isn't anything offhand about it. A very good piece of social, as well as labor history. I, of course, ended up taking the book to the scene of the crime and retracing the steps. Fascinating.

吉柴 和男 kanbou — This story was about a young boy who went missing. The fortune teller had told his mom that his presence was always with her. One day his father and mother got a call from a person asking them to fly to Europe to come and identify if the dead body was their son. Indeed it was there son. They flew back and buried Derek. Derek's sister Maxine began getting phone calls saying that it was Derek. At first she didn't know what to believe. She began pondering the whole idea of it. Thinking that it could really actually be him, it could be him as a ghost, or it could be someone playing a really mean joke on her. One day Maxine got another call claiming to be from her brother. He had told her to meet him at his grave after school that day. When she arrived she saw Derek's arch enemy. He began beating Maxine up. Derek began pretending that he was a spirit scaring him. Derek had never died. He ran away from home, but was scared back to his family when he read his own death in the paper.

Mario Ravalli mario7bdc — Informational Book Bibliography: Civil War- This looks like a remarkable book that actually contains pieces of letters, journals, speeches, etc, from those involved in the Civil war. Most of the accounts are from wives, slaves, farmers, and foot soldiers. This is an account of the war from their perspective.

Kristen Mcclenahan _rnery_ittle_og — First up, I read this at a friend's sleepover, six in the morning. Sun streaming through the window, she was snoring, I didn't dare wake her up. So I grabbed a book and read. First up--we get it, Miley. You want to look like a perfect Disney Christian. But girl, you do a lot of risque stuff and I honestly struggle to believe that you really believe in what you preach. I really struggled with the religious parts simply because they seemed so fake and staged. There were a few nicely written parts, about how she used her left hand for creating and her right for caring, or something. And then I saw it was one of those co-written books which really frustrate me. If you can't write good material on your own, don't try and publish a book. Go practice, write rubbish first drafts, hone your skills. But don't make it look like you wrote a memoir, and then it turns out another woman wrote most of it. This is not a collaboration. It's just lazy. She also went on and on about how terrible school was. This happens a lot in famous people's memoirs. You don't have to be a drama queen or make everything seem like the end of the world. The moments in books that show strength and courage are the powerful ones. Basically, it felt like a staged book, a cry for sympathy and people to forget the stupid stuff she did {I have no problem with people doing stupid stuff, just hypocriteS}, an attempt to look perfect.
