Reading the book jacket and the acknowledgements and even the inside first page about how the book got written - all of it very clever and insightful. I'd like to have this woman as a friend!

Jawdat Al-yousef arch_jawdat — good story, about two couples, the women are long-time best friends, and one of the women is having an affair with the other one's husband. I know...I didn't thing I'd be able to make it through this, but I did and it really wasn't as bad as I expected...in fact, I kinda liked it. Favorite Quotes: These are from the end of the book, so don't read them if you don't want to know how it turns out. "It seems to Ben that the breakup of his marriage was like a carefully choreographed dance, except that he hadn't been taught the steps. All he could do was follow, and try to pick it up as he went along. He'd always thought that when you've been with someone for a long time your feelings are like an iceberg, only a small part of which is visible above the surface. Now he can see that what he thought was the tip of Claire's deeper feeling was in fact all that was left---a shard of intimacy, a nub of desire, the only remaining fragment of a dissolving relationship. Yelda Bilgi yeldabaris65a9 — Teilweise wirklich lustige und völlig groteske Geschichte um den Herrn Adolf, ein bisschen wirr und völlig irrsinnig inszeniert (Adolf zersört Hiroshima, Adolf zeugt mit Hilfe von außerirdischer Technologie und Mutter Theresa den perfekten Menschen...) Leider fiel die Ausgabe des Buches bereits auseinander, weshalb mir die Seiten und der Rote Faden ein bisschen gefehlt haben. Auf jeden Fall gute Ideen und Ansätze.
