Raymond Sulpico pipo — A wonderful combination of spy novel and History of the Book, set in 17th Century Europe. I loved it.

Casey Goulet caseygoulet — Sandra Foster is a scientist who specializes in trends. She's trying to figure out where hair bobbing started while dealing with a disruptive office assistant, a fad-resistant fellow scientist, and a flock of uncooperative sheep. I liked how all the chapters started off with a summary of some fad. I also liked how Sandra was trying to promote her own little trends like reading and chocolate cheesecake. I found some of the science a bit sketchy and am not sure I understand any more about how innovations happen. Still, a fun light read filled with some amusing social commentary.

Daniel Gaiardelli _aniel_aiardelli — Maguire really makes the protagonist a very sympathetic character. Very creative material within the book itself (the political commentary was what I really loved about Wicked). Although the book is divided into Parts (I think 5 major ones although I don't remember now) and the last Part is probably my least favorite section of the book. Great book!
