Jim Bouton wasnt the greatest pitcher to step on a mound in major league history, not even close. its like a diary from a baseball player. it really is, its a diary about the clubhouse and about what a major league player is thinking. Bouton made friends with a sports writer and told him to make a diary about the club house. its also a little like a confusion too. because it talks about the drugs, drinking. this book had many people against it in the beginning. a lot of controversy around this book being published. it was a part of baseball that nobody ever known. i would recommend this book to any baseball fan, or actually anyone period. its a little long but not that hard of a read.
