Scott Sorensen stelekon — I didn't find this hilarious; I found it, well, mildly entertaining. I read it on my husband's recommendation, and also since I had just finished Precious Bane and this was written as a parody of the 'Shropshire novels'. To be honest, I preferred the work it was trying to send up.

Manon Mourgeon manonmourgeon — One of several of Moore's books that I ended up laughing out loud at on an airplane....a must-read!

Qmichale Vintage michaelvin6ac6 — This book is absolutely excellent: a funny story a la Lemony Snicket that is a sort of murder mystery in the orchestra, which is a gem in itself, but the real is the music composed to go along with it. This is a truly inspired idea, and very well done. The book comes with a CD, so you can listen to Lemony Snicket reading along to orchestral accompaniment. Well played, Mr. Snicket. I hope to see more of this genre in the future.

Lenarduzzi Valerio lenarduzzimosaic — I'm not sure how I feel about this book. It had Greek mythology monsters, which is a definite plus. But the story moved slowly and the girls weren't fleshed out at all. I also despise that I could clearly tell as we neared the end that nothing at all was going to get resolved, forcing you to read the next book. I hate that gimmick.

Jeykhun Imanov jeykhunimanovstudio — I went back and forth between 3 and 4 stars for this one but finally decided on 3 for 2 reasons. #1. - I had a hard time getting into it at the beginning and #2. Unlike other books from this author (Daughter of the Forest and Son of the Shadows, etc.) where I soaked in every detail and practically felt as if I were living in the story, in this one I found my self skipping through the details to get to the end. I did enjoy the story though and am excited to read the next books in the trilogy.
