Zoltan Feher zooli — I was disappointed in this book. I read MacLean's Love According to Lily and was expecting to be blown away by this one also. I wasn't. It was an enjoyable read, but there was nothing that took me by surprise, nothing that made me think of the book after I put it down.

Javier Vega _odrigo95 — This book made me laugh so many times! I think it's better enjoyed having read the books that come right before it, though. Reading The Mane Squeeze and Beast Behaving Badly first would greatly increase your enjoyment of this book, because many of their characters, as well as some from earlier in the series, reappear. For me this is a series where the comedy overshadows the romance, and that's ok with me.

Ahmad Aloufi ahmad2203c68c — The complex and engrossing tale, colorful characters, and beautifully poetic words (despite translation from Spanish) made this book very difficult to put down. I hesitate to give it five stars because, especially in the last hundred pages, it appeared to turn into a predictable romantic tragedy, but it still kept me on my toes and the end was very good, bringing me back to the questions I had asked when I first started reading it. Much appreciation to Sarah for recommending it to me. I extend that recommendation to anyone who is looking for an imaginative story. I liked how well you get to know the eccentric personalities of the characters.
