The story of Harry and his friends as well as foes took an exciting detour into a common theme among the characters. This returning theme is rebellion, and Harry was forced to rebel several times in an out of Hogwarts. When Voldemort and the dreaded Death Eaters try to take control over Harry and all of Hogwarts, Harry must use magic outside of school as self defense. Unfortunately, it is forbidden to use magic out of school, so Harry is faced with the jurisdiction of the Order. The Order is a group of powerful wizards (included Dumbledore) whose goals are primarily to fight Voldemort. Later in the story, the new Dark Arts teacher Dolores Umbridge, consistently fails to provide her students with necessary spells and knowledge that would equip them for the dark world of magic. Harry, Ron, and Hermione form a group of dedicated students calling themselves "Dumbledore's Army" and teach themselves spells of the Dark Arts. As the year trudges on, Harry is faced by a series of horrifying dreams leading him to once again face Voldemort. Harry, along with his godfather Sirius Black, go against Voldemort's followers in the Department of Mysteries over a prophecy that implies the future of Harry, Voldemort, and all of wizardry.
