Roberto Campolucci robertobordi1571 — Stylistically very innovative and exciting...I'm just not Latin enough to appreciate all the humorous nuances. The protagonist and the local flavor reminded me of Confederacy of Dunces, which I understood more on a personal level. I also appreciated the message that legacy-building accomplishments are meaningless in a chaotic world and the simple beauty of a single kiss is as significant and redemptive (as for Oscar) as a lifes work in novel form. Loved the author's voice, I'm just not the right reader.
