Zzhengang Xie 9958012125efa — I thought this installment in the BDB series had a lot of stories going on at the same time. We learn that the omega has a son, and that Blay may not be the ladies man John always thought he was. John's secret gets revealed and Phury works through his drug dependancy. We learn more about Rehvenge and what it's like being a Sympath, and that's still not all of it. The book was supposed to focus on Butch and Cormia's relationship, and in my opinion there could have been more scenes with them, and a little less about everyone else. It's almost like Ward tried to cram as much information into this book as possible. While most of it was entertaining, I'm sure she could have left some of the stories for future books. With all that said, I am looking forward to seeing what happens with Lash, and also what happens with Blay and Quinn in the upcoming books. I enjoyed this book but I hope the next one is a bit more focused.
