Andy Andy machiavillain — From a Neuroscience point of view, I was extremely impressed with the comprehension of scientific thought and it's aplication into a modern buddhist philosophy. It's a thoughtful discussion that I would recommend to anyone.

Deyan Slavchev _edko — Leviathan is the perfect set-up book for a sequel. Characters and a world are introduced, but the end left me wanting more. Scott Westerfield creates a world with genetically engineered creatures. The Leviathan is actually a huge beast /creature thing. This seems really weird, but it makes the world very unique. I can see how the book is based off the actual events of WWI. There isn’t much plot or exciting events until the last third of the book. If the summary of the book and the promise of a sequel seem interesting to you, you will like the book. The illustrations are beautiful and help me imagine the beasts and machines that I would have never been able to picture in my head. They are done very nicely. Overall, Leviathan sets up for a sequel but it not a fantastic book on its own. I would give the book 3.5 stars if I could.

Ana Pb anapbabian8933 — It was awesome. It was a science fiction book about an alien hunter named Daniel X. It's a wonderful mix of Spider-Man and men in Black. Daniel is going after an alien who's a drug lord and mass murderer. It was a thriller. The bad part was they never really described Daniel. Overall, it was a great book. Check it out at your local library.

刘 惠敏 youyoushul18dc — I hadn't picked up a Capote book in years when I saw this one on my shelf. I suppose I had bought it years ago and forgotten about it, but after reading it I soon realized why I'm a Capote fan. Nothing beats a good southern writer, especially one as self absorbed and flambouyant as Capote. This book was about an orphaned boy going to live with the only relatives he had left in the world, and meeting them for the first time on their doorstep. He soon realizes that like he, they too, have many things to hide. While trying to figure out what haunts his relatives, he teams up with a local girl and learns possibly more about life in their small part of the world than he is comfortable with. This book had me turning each page with anticipation but left me frustrated at the end because while Capote is rich in detail about the setting and his characters, he left the ending a bit more mysterious about the boy's fate than I would have liked.

Burak Kaya _eguzelmis_ — so I loved learning about the stats of the airplane crashes...very uplifting! this was a really interesting book, and and easy engaging read.
