Francisco Aranda farandal — I should stop trying to expand my horizons. I know I don't like short stories, so why keep trying to force it? I can't even tell if you if these short stories were good or not because I didn't "get" them at all. That is, except for Innocent Erendira (the title story) which I liked quite a bit (it was much longer and more developed than the others).

Joseana Ribeiro joalh — I couldnt put this book down, it was utterly addicting. I've found that Michael Crichton never develops his characters enough to suit my personal tastes and you can see a bit of it in Timeline but not as much, I grew attached to the characters and I was depressed when it ended. Crichton's earlier works are amazing.

Geof Agneberg geofragneb0d0d — 4 out of 5 Stars The Oracle Series is a fresh take in the Urban Fantasy genre. There are no vampires, werewolves or demons in this one. Just exceptional humans; that is if you can call an oracle just a human. Tara’s specialty is reading tarot cards that assist her in solving crimes and make her one of the finest criminal profilers around. She has been off the job for a bit, after being almost murdered by a serial killer (I think in the previous book). Her her old boyfriend Harry shows up and asks for her help with a case - how can the girl say no? Rogue Oracle is really a suspense novel with a twist of UF. I enjoyed the criminal aspect of the story, which you really don’t get a lot of with UF books. I also appreciated the relationships between the characters, all of them are sound. I especially liked Tara and Cassie’s. The protectiveness Tara feels for her is touching. I would have liked to see a bit more between Harry and Tara, but that is just the romance junkie in me rearing its head. The Priya character is also quite intriguing and scary, she has her own agenda and is committed to making it occur. I should note that I have not read the first book in the series, Dark Oracle, and I was able to thoroughly enjoy Rogue Oracle without feeling lost or feeling like I was missing something. Overall, Rogue Oracle is a recommended read for you UF and paranormal addicts.
