Fasfac Asfasfs vfdnafaas — Of course I felt obligated to read "that scrotum book" that just won the Newbery Medal, but I ended up being sweetly charmed by Patron's innocent protagonist. I certainly recommend it as a quick read or a great read-aloud if you have kids or if you're just into that kind of thing.

Arantxa Luengo _ranlue — While there's a painful amount of aimless dialogue about useless people talking about how useless they are filling the majority of the book, as a whole a lot of really engaging themes are expounded upon. Atwood manages to dip into the over-saturated "what is the meaning of life and what does it mean to be human in a post-apocalyptic world" with some fresh perspectives and pulls it off without coming across as preachy or as a faux-philosopher. The ending is worth it.
