Armando Lopez-bircann arlobi — This book was much better than the third one, yet it still read like the ghostwriter's style to me. It would be that way foreverafter. I found it pretty predictable on the whole. And the vengeful old man character having been in the background of every book is just plain annoying. The uncle seemed exactly like the old servant from the third book, who was just like Malcolm. A circle of cookie cutter men. I was pleasantly surprised with Cathy's character in this book. Rather than the stupid decision-maker from second book and the bad mother figure in the third book, Cathy transformed into a wise woman. Applause! I especially like her description of what love is in the book. Cathy, you grew up...shame it took you this long! Some parts to it also seemed forced. Let's make Jory happy by having his caretaker fall in love with him! No, really! Eh, I just couldn't get a real feel from that. Bart's sorrow at the end did feel real. I really did feel like he finally realized how much Chris meant to him, but when he started preaching it felt forced. You know who really ticked me off in this book? The daughter. I can't remember her name, oops, but she made all the same dumb mistakes Cathy made at her age. Yet another thing of the sins of the mother falling upon the children...the most frustrating thing about it was that she proclaimed her innocence and everyone believed her, only to find out she was truly a liar and a slut. The ending hit me like a ton of bricks. I was shocked to the core; this was the only shock I experienced in the book and since everything else was so predictable I did NOT see that coming. What a wonderful ending it was, though.

David Fitzsimmons davidfitzsimmons — Blue is for Nightmares is an intense, action-packed book with an exciting plot and loveable characters. This fiction-based book begins as we are introduced to the hero of the book, Stacey. Stacey is having dreams about her best friend and roommate Drea getting stalked and killed. Since this is not the first time Stacey has predicted someone’s death, she decides to take it seriously and do something about it this time. The humorous characters this intense book needs are Amber and PJ, the main character friends. Other important characters in this book are Chad and Donovan, they are important in the love life’s of Stacey and Drea and also in the plot of the book. Lastly another important character is Victoria the “mean girl” of the book. She is by far my least favorite character. This is one of my all time favorite books. The author uses humor clashing with the thrilling plot to make the book not too scary but still exciting. I loved the witchcraft references the author makes to make the book seem real. The author also includes a lot of dialogue, which provides everyone’s option to what is going on in the book. I would recommend this book to mostly girls. If you like reality mixed in with fantasy you should defiantly pick up this book. I cannot wait to read the rest of this exciting series.

Juan Tello juantelloweb — If, like me, you don't know anything about Ned Kelly when you start this book, don't be scared off by the first two pages with the killer robot. That will all become clear later. Really, between the cover design, the killer robot, and the difficult style, I thought I was going to hate this book. Halfway through it, I realized I was totally in love with it. It was this paragraph that really did it for me: We thought you doomed and rooned the minute you walked out past the chook house and Wild delivered that great sidearm to your head and you was on the floor before you even stepped up to the scratch. It were a proddy pub so no one give an eff what happened to a mick they planned to drink your blood. Wild had heard you had been mocking Dummy and now he were for the kill. (178) Awesome.
