Jongpil Park du_ke — An absolutely delightful guide to usage--you'll find at least one or two things you didn't previously know, but you'll really just enjoy his wit, and learning more about British English versus American English.

Kuti Tamás tamaskuti — I wanted to like this novel so much more than I did. The writing is beautiful, but for the most part the characters and the story left me cold. The novel has some wonderful moments, and I did find Morrison's use of point of view interesting, but overall this was much less engaging than her best work (which, unfortunately, is most of the rest of her work).

Emmanuel Gilliland land_ncorpuration — An interesting philosophical unraveling of the myth of religion - especially Christianity - from a scientific basis. The science-heavy middle part is well, heavy reading and at times excruciatingly boring. It remains doubtful how many minds this would change, but maybe I'm too much of a cynic.

Stephanie Swain stephanieswainmua — Reading this with my daughter for her 8th grade English class. I enjoy the narrative, the characters, and the strength of Jane herself - really remarkable in light of its time. That said, it can be a tough slog with some seriously overwrought passages by modern standards. Willa thinks it is the worst book *ever* but at least now she has a ready arsenal of about 75 ways to describe a man's marble-like visage.
