Rita Baía ritabaiaca75ca — Well, first up, this has been the easiest read of any web book I've ever tackled. I *zoomed* through it. And the information is really interesting. Yes, quite a bit of it is common sense; yes, there's some repetition, but I think it's an excellent introduction to how people behave online. It's a book that would be useful not only for people developing social networks, but people attempting to achieve anything online. It's also - apparently contrary to the title - not just for designers. The design that's being talked about covers every aspect of a site's design - from the initial idea and approach, through system design, form design and graphic design, and I would recommend it to anyone who is working with websites, or thinking of starting up a web project. Excellent examples, easy to read, not too long, plus a wealth of links for further reading.

Asrika Vw actrika94fa — Final book in this series. Brings to fruition the Metaphysical Rebellion as well as the destruction of Fury. Wanted more of the Rebellion and less on Fury. The whole Fury plot line is interesting but totally took over the novel.

She's a lady who values her independence, yearns for a healthy bank balance, and appreciates a good wine, a Cole Porter tune, a great clothing sale....and a fine looking man." from the flyleaf As with all 4 of the Jane da Silva books, I appreciate the Seattle setting, the forays into other nearby regions, her comedic endeavors to satisfy the terms of the uncle's will, her bungling into a clever solution, and just about everything else about these light, humorous mysteries. Very satisfying short reads.

Gencay Karakus gencaykarakus — Another book that I picked up at the library. It was in the car when I took my son to the ER, so I read several chapters that night. At first I liked it a lot. It's breeziness is welcome after the last couple books I read, which were very intense. But as I've gotten further into it, I find the light tone rather banal and the lack of linear progression rather aggravating. I hope she starts to get somewhere, because right now it's too much self-involved navel-gazing without enough wit, charm or humor. In the end it was a quick read and not bad, not a waste of time, but nothing special.

Evanys Gutierrez evanys — It made my cry. It's very provocative. You will sympathize with the main character, and often hate everyone else. But all in all it's a good and real book. Real emotions and all that.
