Gabriela Pinheiro gabipin — I think if I hadn't seen the rave reviews this book got, I probably would have given this more stars. But I was quite disappointed with the whole story. I found the pace of the book so slow. Reading the first few chapters was a bit of a chore and I skimmed a lot. Another reason for the low rating is most likely due to the fact that I read this book in the wake of reading the Kate Daniels series and the fast paced action packed world Ilona Andrews created is still in my head making this book a bit dull. I also didn't really like the heroes either (Adam or Sam) which kinda kills the romance aspect. Finally, Patricia Briggs' werewolf world where the women are all submissive is an annoying fact that taints the whole book for me. I'll try the next book because I want to feel what others felt when they gave this series a high rating.

David Alvarez _ersie — So far its a lot like "My Sister Keeper"....Pretty awesome, I could also be a sucker for such books:) Definitely for folks who loves drama, a couple of heart jerking moments.....and just pure human emotions! It's always making me think, "What If...?!"
