Nhan Vo nhanvodesigner — The essential book about nuclear deterrence and arms as politics. Which is to say, I obvs fell asleep while reading it. But it was still good.

Bouagada Karim bkcreativity — Ugh- trite. I made myself finish this book so I could write an honest review about it. I lived in DC for three years and the people that this book is about the people I stayed away from (not that they would have come near me, but you know what I mean). The heroine of this book was difficult to identify with. She seemed very "woe is me" about a lot of things, when she really didn't have much to be concerned about. This book seems to highlight helicopter parents and how all of their children's drama becomes theirs and afflicts their relationships (the main character was way into relationships). I think originally I wanted to read this book because it was a DC-centric story, but it made me sick and brought back memories of a side of DC that I was not at all involved with.

Kartik Reddy karthik02968be — This is one of those books that is a guilty pleasure. If you read in spurts and want a quick laugh, I highly reccomend it.
