Karen Romero karenromero — A bit of a stray from traditional hero-journey literature. At times the book seemed so anti-Christian, anti-family that it made me uncomfortable. I loved it. I've read so many books from the "righteous" camp - where the parents are near saints and the hero/heroine are on such a high moral pedestal that it becomes unrealistic - that it was refreshing to come across one with such a different perspective. Can't wait to start on the next!

Unbuenplan Design info3f2c — The collection of Browning poems that one should read if he or she has not read Browning before. It really has all the good ones (not that any are particularly bad). I think my favorite is "Master Hugues of Saxe-Gotha."

Apoorva George _poorva31_ennifer — mermaids ... named Fred. Ok ... her name is Fredrika. And she doesn't like the ocean. Too many talkative fish and nasty sea weed that gets caught in her hair. Then again, Fred is a Ph.D. in Marine Biology who works at the New England Aquarium. So she's got enough fish to worry about. What happens when a stranger walks into her life and upsets everything ... a gorgeous marine biologist and close on his heels is the High Prince of the Black Sea (aka Prince Artur ... king-in-waiting of all Undersea Folk). What's a cranky, argumentative Fred to do? Have an adventure. Good read ... not terrific but good enough so I read the rest of the series.

Brian Herman _rian_erman — I only vaguely even remember the story. I do remember it being a letdown for Clancy standards. It wasn't bad though. Worth the time spent listening (& driving).

李 山 a189563247220384 — I heard about this book on Glen Beck. It is an amazing true story of a 4 man navy seal team that ended up in a battle with 100+ Taliban fighters. It is a story of the realities of war and as such is very violent and disturbing. I will probably not read it again. However I am glad I read it and believe that it should probably be read by everyone once. Warning: There is a lot of profanity in this book but this is not a fiction story where profanity can seem frivolous and completely unnecessary. This is the account of a real battle in a real war where real people get killed.
