When writing a zombie book.... don't start your protagonist out describing how excited and ready he is because he/she loves zombie movies (oh, and listing them? what's that about?). It's trite, silly and completely unbelievable; I couldn't get past that in this book. It's been a common theme in a few of the newer self-published books, and I just don't understand it at all. ALSO. I don't want to read about a character who seems to be more excited about his zombie-apocalypse readiness to take any interest at all in his family standing there screaming. Seriously? Zombies at the door and you are gonna send your kid out back to lock the gate. Ugh. No plans on finishing this one at all.

Fábio Goulart fabaohard — I couldn't put this one down. Fascinating ethical dilemma and drama. When Picoult is good, she is great. After the first few she is somewhat predictable but the books read fast and keep you engaged. This one was the best so far.

Indra Widijanta webytes — Experimental form. Presented as more of a encylopedia than a dictionary. This book explores a mysterious world in a mysterious format. The "male" version conatains one extra line than the "Female" version, which changes a lot. Non serial literature in it's most unique form.

Tenpura Ninja tenpuraninja — This is probably the most famous of a rash of book written in the mid twentieth century containing a very pessimistic view of the future. In this tale, Orwell conceives of a society in which the people are under constant control and surveillance by "big brother." The TVs in people's houses cease to be modes of entertainment and become propaganda machines for the state, a state which conjures up wars in order to keep the people in submission. The only way that one breaks out is to hide from the TVs and express themselves freely, which in this case, means sexually. This is another thinly veiled critique of communism, and while it is probably exaggerated, much of what 1984 predicts, I think, occurs in places like China.
