A Passion Denied gave me something most series books fail to deliver. Lessman doesn’t let previous characters wither away, she keeps them alive and part of the story. They don’t just marry or move away and live happily ever after. We get to see what happens to Charity and Faith as newlyweds. This book has several twists I didn’t see coming and wasn’t quite sure how they would be resolved. Once again Lessman delivers a book worth savoring.
