Florence Institute _ — I want to kick this author in the balls. Especially after that back cover picture of his 'looking out into the world contemplatively.' (GAWD the arrogance) I primarily want to kick him in the balls though as it seemed like the book is nothing more than him sitting around his computer saying, "What would be awful to deal with now?" All the characters do is repeat each other. "You okay?" "I'm okay." "Really okay?" "Yes, really okay." "Okay." GAH! I think someone somewhere read it and claimed, "It's TRUE ART!" and everyone jumped on the bandwagon and said, "Yes! Yes! I love it also! I am a deep person too!" I always thought of art as something that makes you feel an emotion, good or bad. So yeah, maybe this is art as I felt depressed as hell after I read it. I'm thinking of writing a book like this myself - just to see if it's hard to write a series of depressing scenarios. 'My dog died, then my car was stolen, then I ran out of soy milk, then I got a cold, then my check book didn't balance, then Pakistan blew up India, then my friend un-friended me on Facebook, etc.' Now, for the back cover, I just need a picture of myself looking out into the world with my too-sensitive face thinking my deep, deep thoughts....

Emiliano Gobello gobelloemiliano — I'd actually give this book 3 1/2 stars. I didn't really like her style of writing, but I like the story itself.
