Liza Yakunina _iza_akunina — I would like to write a review of this book, but am too tired to do it right now. Suffice it to say that I enjoyed it. The hype may have been a tad bit over-exaggerated, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable book, nonetheless. It will make a good movie, though...if they can get all of the myriad special effects needed to make it right.

Pedro Silva _edro_astanho — Why did I love this book? James Malcolm Alexander MacKenzie Fraser. Seriously though, this book seems easy to laugh at (I made fun of it myself at first), but once you get over the words "time-travel" you can appreciatethe story for what it is - fabulous.

Lilia Chobanyan liliachobanyan — Ok, I have to admit--I always thought that this should have been made into a Pink Panther movie, with Peter Sellers in the role of the head crook. Normally, he'd have been the hero, but in this book at least, the hero is less bumbling than the profession thieves. Having said that--I DID discover that it had been made into a Made-for-TV movie. Which was amusing, but I STILL think that Sellers would have been a better choice. Ah well, back to reviewing the book. It has bumbling thieves, somewhat less bumbling good guys, a wimpy love interest, a creepy cousin, and 2 kids that are way beyond bright. While the characters are somewhat cartoonish, I think that that is what the author was going for. Something light and fun and lol.
