Olajide Owolalbi jideflash — A quick, terrific read. Inspiring to see how Patti and Robert began their lives together with nothing and stumbled onto the careers that would make them famous. The most compelling storyline in the book is following the relationship between the two and how it changed, yet didn't change over the span of their 21 years. At the height of their fame, although the two were involved with a revolving door of characters they were there to balance one another. Reading this book will certainly have you looking closer at your life's friendships and i would say anyone would be lucky to have a "Patti" or a "Robert" in their lives.

Katarzyna Gruszecka _uina — "There's plenty about my life I can't change. Can't bring the dead back to life on this earth. Can't make the world loving and kind. Can't change myself into a millionaire. But a patch of ground in this trashy lot-- I can, change that. Can change it big. Better to put my time into that than moaning about the other all day" (p.12). Yes. Youth literature, but a fast, warm and lovely read about the interaction of people in a community garden in Cleveland.

Michele Paul michelepaul — This is great! some parts can be a little trying... but i am drawn to the main character and her struggles, which may be frightening, oh well. Sylvia Plath is a wonderfully dark writer and it's just too bad that she ended things so young.
