Coco Yang coco_yang — I started this book and got into it right away, even though I could never read "Shipping News" which so many have raved about. But I really got into this story, I think because of the accordian angle and the topic of immigration. I'm taking a break now and hope to finish reading this summer.

Angeles Bandini anfelesban730e — ** spoiler alert ** I already guessed how Jessica would betray Elizabeth by simply reading the book jacket, but wow! I could never have imagined that the Sweet Valley twins would turn out the way they did. I remembered reading the books when i was younger, and what makes it even sweeter is that in Sweet Valley Confidential they are my age (27) so it was great to see what these 20-somethings were up to. Honestly, I didn't really find the style of writing to my liking. However, I guess since I was such a fan back when I was younger I was a bit more lenient in judging the book. The storyline was great though and I think many people can relate to it. That was actually a problem of mine in reading the book. I often find myself empathizing with the characters in books, movies, etc. and reading about the pain and anger Elizabeth went through somewhat reminded me of a somewhat similar time (minus the backstabbing of a female) in my life. Definitely needed a break from reading it every now and then!

Rsham Heydarpoor 1310_ — This was one of the giveaway books from our library that I took on vacation. I enjoyed it.

Jenny Pospori _enny_ospori — This is a great read but the problem is that I am still reading it! It is very, very long. A great exploration of leadership. The Revolutionary War/Constitution Era of our nation's history are the two periods I find the most fascinating. How an idea becomes a reality and endures through time. While we may not like who is President, the system that was created over 200 years ago promises he won't stay in office too much longer!
