Zaïd J-s zaidjudas — As with any anthology, some of the stories, characters, and authors I liked better than others. All of them are pretty good though, and some of them are great. Thieves' World has introduced me to a lot of my favorite fantasy/sci-fi authors. This is one of the few series that I actually love.

Meles Meles _arlos_u — I have to confess . . . . I purchased this book right after it's release and read two chapters. I set it down because it just didn't engage me as I had hoped. I NEVER do that. Never. But this time I did, who knows why. Two years later, someone in my book club selected it for our September read. I opened it again and read the whole thing. It was one of the most charming books I've ever read. I thought a lot about the characters long after I set the book down. To those of you who haven't read this -- do, you will love it. And just in case you get a little worried in the first hour of reading, keep going. It's so worth it.
