Taylor Odonnell taylorodonnell — the author followed the stories of an iraqi girl and a young american marine during the recent iraq war. i found it a touching and thoughtful book. - of course an anti war message based on exemplary individual stories has its limitations.... but nevertheless, to me, he got his point across.

Ivan Aucanshala arqivanaucedae — Growing up with action (specifically HK gangster) movies, there's a part of me that really loves action/adventure whether it's in movies or video games. This novel totally reads like a video game. the one major downside is the crazy/evil environmentalists in the book. But other than that I really like the strategy of executing each mission and the characters (although I think the main reason I like Clark is because of the way Willem DaFoe played him in Clear and Present Danger, same goes with liking the Jack Ryan books because of Harrison Ford- Ben Afflek and Alec Baldwin just didn't do it for me)

Angels are born not made so not only is she very weak when she wakes but once she is seen she is a sensation, one that gets invited to a ball thrown in her honer by the Archangel of death.
