Penelope Powers pkapowers318d — I haven't seen the movie, but I have the feeling a documentary format might be better suited for this story. The book tended to be a bit repetitive when describing the birds, and the authors life could probably be shown more effectively than having to describe it with words. I found the author, Mark Bittner, to be maddeningly eccentric. I have little patience for people with potential and opportunity who throw it away to live like bums. The story of the parrots is interesting. There social structure is complex and Bittner describes his discoveries in loving detail. Living in the Bay Area, it is fun to recognize the locations and know that these beautiful creatures are living in our backyard.

Marie Elisa marievalente — I read this in two nights, it was a light and fun book that occasionally had me laughing out loud. It's a pretty quick read and the authors keep the pace moving, it's an entertaining Peter Pan prequel.

Ekaterina F _katerina_teya_nsk — I really enjoy Wodehouse but this particular title was not my favorite. I preferred some of the titles with a little bit of a longer story arc. This one mostly includes stories about Bingo Little falling in love with every girl he meets then dragging Bertie "into the soup" when he mucks it up. Naturally this means that Jeeves must get Bertie out of "the soup." Laugh out loud funny and I do recommend it, but I would start with another Jeeves and Wooster title to really help get the feel before diving into this one.

Shahad Al abdulazizs267d — Excellent! Not too brain-taxing, but not too fluffy, either. I loved all the characters and will definitely be buying more from this series. It may sound odd, but one of the things I really liked was the short chapter length. It somehow moved the story along nicely, and I was able to read the shorter chunks in between all the other stuff I was needing to accomplish.
