This is another cute fairy book Isabella and I read together. We love this series because of the fun fairy adventures, stunning illustrations, and excellent lessons learned from everyday life. In this book, Tink loses her temper with her good friend Terence. We learn a lot about regret, making up, and forgiveness. It has wonderful lessons to be learned!

Mohammad Bayat mohammadba4569 — This book is not meant to rush through. It's meant to read slowly and enjoy the beautiful language and the slow pace of life. This is a beautiful look at Welsh village life and brings us back to a time when family was everything and it was okay to be fiercely loyal to what's right. I loved the vulnerability of our protagonist Huw and despite his tough-guy anticts, he was so sweet at heart. There were parts of the story that were so slow, so slow, that I wondered if I'd ever plod my way through. I'll leave you with a couple of my favorite quotes from the book: "I thought when I was a young man that I would conquer the world with truth. I thought I would lead an army greater than Alexander ever dreamed of, not to conquer nations, but to liberate mankind. With truth. With the golden sound of the Word. But only a few heart the trumpet. Only a few understood." "Ordinary things like teapots may be talked about because we know them and they are solid under the hand. But to talk of the world that is hidden in every woman is a journey of pain, for the words are not in use to tell of it, and to use the words that are is only a hopping on uneven crutches."
