Venkatesan J venkat23 — It took me a while to get into this book. I didn't like this one as much as "Angels & Demons", which was awesome. This story didn't have as much excitement as the other one and Susan Fletcher isn't as interesting as Robert Langdon. When the story developed, I really liked it and at some points I didn't want to put it down. Browns stories are a bit complicated, because he uses a lot of difficult terms, but it was still easy to follow. It turned out to be good after all, something I didn't expect when I started reading.

Mohammed Almuaini redbey — One of his best so far, rivaling "Small Gods" and "Lords and Ladies". Great social commentary in a funny wrapping. It helps to read some of his other Discworld books so you know the characters, but it doesn't hurt if you haven't.

Attitude Visual attitudetm — This book really impressed me. This is not something I would consider "young adult" even though the characters are in high school and the entire story takes place at a boarding school. To me, young adult novels are shallow, ridiculous and induce uncontrollable eye rolling in me. This was so deep I'm not even sure it had a bottom! Wow. The characters grew on me till I felt like I was reading about my life and my friends. This book gave me experiences so real I feel like I have gained memories of a time in my life that I never knew existed- like I recovered from amnesia or something! Amazing. This is the story of a boy named Miles and his experiences of leaving home and attending boarding school in the south. He picks up bad habits, gets mixed up in an old feud, makes incredible friends and finds a girl named Alaska. He learns a little bit about life, love, friendship and loss.
