Débora Gotlib deboragotlib — I tore through this book in 2 days and was intrigued at the concept and possibilities. My problem with young adult books is the lack of character development, so I wasn't expecting too much in that regard. The characters are stereotypical and predictable, but once I saw past that, I became engrossed in the quest of the Lorien’s and Mogadorian’s. I AM NUMBER FOUR is suspenseful and very visual, especially in the explosive action sequences (no wonder it was made into a movie so quickly). Overall, I liked this book, and will definitely be waiting when the sequels come out.
