Rabiatul Adawiyah rabiatulmha — "The Last Echo" by far is the best book yet in The Body Finder series. It is fast paced, suspenseful and simply an amazing read. This book begins shortly after the previous books ends. Violet has agreed to work with a special team headed up by Sara Priest. All of the members have special abilities like Violet and for once in her life she feels normal. The story opens as Violet is walking through a warehouse attempting to locate the body of a missing girl. She locates a smooth surface and immediately knows that the body is inside. She calls on the team through her microphone and they stampede in finding the girl in a freezer. Violet is working with Rafe and for some reason as quiet and offensive as he can be, he tends to spend more time with her than he does the other team members. She is slowly getting to know him and his special abilities. Of course, Jay is not too happy about this. He knows that Violet loves him, it is Rafe he is not too sure about. Once again this story is told through the POV of both Violet as well as the killer. However, in this case, there are two crimes unfolding. Violet accidentally stumbles into the preview of a gang member, pimp, killer and he is convinced she is serving as a witness against him. He is not about to let this occur. Then, there is the crazy man known as the girlfriend collector who is going around kidnapping women in an attempt to make them love him. When this does not work, there bodies are found. Violet is in more danger than ever and once again she must rely on her intelligence, psychometry, and common sense to keep her out of harm's way. Will she be successful or will this be her last echo? I just loved this book! It was chocked full of mystery, action and suspense. It is always wonderful when a series keeps getting better and better. I cannot wait until the next book in the series.
