εριφυλη δουκελη eridouk — I don't believe that I have read this author before, and am grateful that her book was a Large Print Edition. I felt empathy toward the heroine of the story since I am also a breast cancer survivor, having had a partial masectomy, instead of the total one Mia had. However, I have never found my husband in bed with another woman as she did. The fly fishing gave the story an extra dimension, as did finding out more about the legendary grandmother of the woman who rented Mia the cabin in the woods near Asheville, NC. It was an entertaining story--don't want to add a spoiler comment.

Axel Axel xabbu — Cover The darkness of the cover reinforces the idea that vampires are dark and mysterious. The silhouette of the lady's face makes one unerringly assume that it is the same Katrina that the book was named after. Plot There was some action and romance in this book. However ... I felt like this book was mainly focused on introducing the characters, not only to the readers but, to each other as well. It was a solid foundation for the remainder of the series. It gave you a sense of who the characters were and where they may be heading in subsequent novels. Main Characters Katrina - A headstrong, independent female born and raised to know how to fight well. She becomes sort of a "leader" among her vampiric female friends. Quinn - Katrina's Watcher and brief love interest. Damien - Katrina's soul mate ... wait ... do vampires have souls? Would he be her soulless mate? Overall This was a nice introduction to the Royal Blood Chronicles. I'm curious to see what happens in the next book, The Protectors.

Luana Menezes luanamenezes — Although this book wasnt as good as i was expecting, after reading prom and prejudice of course, it was okay. Sadly enough i ended up liking todd better than i did ryan. It seemed like him and penny's conversations were like one dimensional, even when he talked to her about being perfect. I didnt like how she crammed the whole 'i wish i could be normal' think into one conversation between them. I felt like ryan was a little whiny sometimes, maybe because i prefer the 'stand and take charge when shes in trouble' type guy and ryan wasnt that. I LOVED the way penny, unlike many female heroines realized that scummy nate wasnt good for her. The way she told him off made me laugh sooo hard, i just wished she punched him lol. The story was really good on the whole 'me and my girls sticking together' aspect but i fel like the romance was rushed.
